These pages contain images of
insects, spiders and other small creatures encountered in Australia and
Papua New Guinea. They are shown here in no particular order, but are
grouped according to the locations they were found in.
I have attempted to
identify the subjects of these images, but by no means rigorously, so some
may be wrong. If you can identify any of the insects and spiders shown here,
or any that may be identified incorrectly, do please let me know (email
address below).
The
images were recorded on small pocket cameras or a mobile
phone. Most of the
images in
these pages were recorded with a hand-held Canon IXUS 105, for example:
